In your last pic the tractor appears to have triples in the front and singles in the rear. In my part of the country we usually run duals front and rears. The wife said that today (May 3rd) that it was snowing pretty good when she was at work today. I work inside so I can't say that I saw it snow

If you look closely you can see the axle sticking out beyond the single wheel. You can't put 8 extra tires on a tractor all at the same time.

lso if the outer one on the front were attached as opposed to just leanin', it would be on backwards.

I understand that the outer wheel on the front is just leaning there. At a quick glance it just made me laugh cause it looked comical.

I'm in Kitsap county and it didn't snow on that day. If you are in West Washington, you must be someplace near Everett or Bellingham?

Yeah outside front is for the back.I was using the loader to bust the tire down to change the tube.(busting the bead)Fun in a snow storm. When is it going to warm up.Thanks All. BlaineF(WA)

(quoted from post at 20:04:51 05/03/11) I forgot to put location in this post.Eastern Washington.Spokane County Sorry

Ohh,..ok,..that makes sense. I love Eastern Washington simply because most who live there are conservatives and not a bunch of yuppies like here in West WA.

There was a little snow in the air in eastern iowa this morning. I had
to drive the tractor without cab between farms today. It was really
cold.

It snowed hard at our house (near Buckley, about 20 mi east of Tacoma) about that same day, maybe plus or minus a couple days. We're at 790 ft, temp was about 36F, so it didn't stick on roads or last very long. Real surprised (and not real pleased) to see it, though.

Zach,

In relatively flat farm country it's quite common to use triples on the big 4 wheel drive tractors, that is 3 tires at each of the 4 positions.
