felt strips with funny sayings - tractor or car

Do you guys recall what the name of those felt strips that you could win or buy like at a carnival? They had funny messages like "Don't laugh lady, your daughter may be in here". They were about an inch wide and 18 inches long.

Usually pinned them up on the felt roof liner.

I'm finding a few on Ebay under felt banner.

What era would you place them in? I'm 64 and don't recall ever seeing any of them.

I have a 1930s or 1940s Johnson Smith & Co. catalog and they may be listed in there if that would be the correct era.

I think they were around from the late 40's to maybe the late 50's. Thanks for the ebay suggestion.
