morel mushrooms

Can any one tell me how many morel mushroom sprouts or seeds I need for a area 270 squair feet.They say you can grow them and I would like to try it.About 15'x18'

Im no expert but I have heard that when you pick morells you ought to use a mesh bag to carry them in then the spoors will fall out and grow and they like dying Elm trees good luck

If you figure out how to raise the morels you will be the richest guy in IOWA read up on them

I've found some morels around dead elms but you'll find more around the soft maple trees year after year for years.

I have spread them by spreading the stems under Norweighway Spruce trees, but they never lasted more than 2 or 3 years before they died out.

My wife found these growing in our yard around Norway Spruce trees yesterday. Guess what I had for supper last night!
