I was way down back and I noticed a flat rock at the corner of the field. Then I remembered that I had it there to set the jack of my spreader on it. But no spreader. No one could have gotten down there without leaving tracks, especially at the stream crossing. I must have loaned it to someone. I think I'm short a wagon too. I remember loaning it and not being concerned because I didn't use it. I keep intending to post a list of stuff that I loan out but I keep forgetting to.

I'm going to put a clipboard on my shop door..I loaned a case full of allen wrenches to someone and they have not come back..can't remember who borrowed them..there were sae and metric, long and short..cost me about $50 when I bought them.

I have had to resort to a signout sheet anymore also . tired of looking for something and then remembering someone borrowed it .

I loaned out my Marlin 30-30 one time too many, didn't miss it for a couple of years and didn't remember who I loaned it to. Now, that's bad!

I wish somebody had borrowed my sons TV. My nephew called about two hours ago and said he had just gotten home and somebody had broken in after his girlfriend left for work mid morning. Said the cops were there and wanted to know if my wife had any numbers for the new flat screen that she had bought my son for Christmas.
Time to reload I guess. Sounds like there might be a need for some shootin around here.

If you just borrow from people with bad memories, one could accumulate a lot of machinery. Rather folly to expect the other chap to return it as their memory could be worse than yours and usually is.intentionally..

I had to quit loaning to non family members. The family loses enough stuff without any help. LOL

Bought a new electronic tach. Thought Ok, I will put it up so I am the only one that knows where it is. That way it will not get broke. Guess what??? I can"t remember where I put it. I have looked for two weeks trying to find it.

I guess Old timers is hitting me.

I don't loan anything out. I may not be able to find it the way my shop looks, but I know it's there somewhere. If I need something,I buy it.
