JD 540 loader value

Curious what a Deere 540 quick tach loader is worth, no valve or controls, heavy duty bucket, good condition. Any input? Used of course. Thanks in advance.

Are you bidding on one at an auction? A good used loader should be worth $1500, maybe even $2000. New loaders are ridiculous in price. As long as the cylinders or frame aren't bent up and rusted or the bushings worn out, there isn't much difference between a new loader.

It could be self leveling or not. JD 540s where made both ways. A good one with a bucket will bring $3000-4500 easy. These are quick tach to the tractor and the bucket. I have been looking for a cheap one for a year and a half.
