Trailer lights are working

What a dummy I am, everyone said bad ground. So I had it grounded at the lights and at the tongue and still not working. Then it hit me this is a tilt bed it's not grounding through the hinges. Ran a wire to the left light and what ya know it works like it's suppose to. Thanks for all your help. Everyone has a BF once in a while.
 
Never would have thought of that one either thanks for re posting the problem--- something to look for in the future .
 
Yea! When you stated you had taken the lights off and they worked while laying on the ground, well that told me....but convincing you.....
As for the BF, everyone needs to have one now and then, otherwise your head can swell up and explode! At least that's what I tell my wife when I have one!
 
Wasn't trying to be hard headed but the things it was doing was really throwing me off. But I know now lack of a proper ground can cause lots of weird things to happen.
