OT Dodge truck

I have a 2006 dodge 1500 Hemi idiot light comes on and gos out for about 2 days then comes back on for a couple of days the code is P1521 incorrect oil type. took it in had oil changed made sure they put 5 w 20 pennzoil. still doing the same thing. this truck has about 40,000 miles on it. anybody else had this problem?

Just an idea, it might be the sensor,might have some condensation,contaminant,causing it to throw that code.Worth looking into.Hope you find it.

Mine has been doing that more or less off and on for a year. As long as it will shake, rattle, and roll, I'm gonna drive it.

Looks like it could be contamination of the oil, contamination in the sensor, incorrect info from a sensor telling the pcm the oil temp. which could indicate the wrong viscosity. Let us know what you find.
