On superbowl Sunday some friends were over and the kids were playing downstairs. All of a sudden they started yelling that my 3 year old had plugged the toilet. I assumed it was with toilet paper, so after the initial problem was over I let it go until a better day.
Well after messing with it a little here and there and getting nowhere I finally brought the shops Rigid See Snake flexible camera. I cut apart the vent line and pushed the camera down until I could see where it tee'd together, and where the sewer snake quit going. Suprise it looked like there was a marble in there. Upon closer inspection the marble was about the size of the 3" drain pipe!
It turns out the new super flush toilet that I had just installed will flush three 2 1/2" playschool balls down at once! So after many hours with a shop vac and 50' of hose I have a hopefully cleared up sewer pipe. That sucked, literally. Now to decide if I should put the toilet down again as I was planning to move it and put a shower on that spot.
