I was trying to replace my caliper assembly last night and ran into a snag. The front passenger rotor wson't slide off. I've tried penetrating oil and rapping with a hammer...something is causing it to stick to the hub. I can get it to wobble some but nothing beyond a centimeter or so.

Any ideas on how to remove it? I know it should slide off but its just not,

Well if your anywhere Near Pa. You"ll end up
needed Heat.. Such as Torch.. Start with alittle
& hopefully you won"t end up needing alott.

Silly question, maybe; but why do you need to take the rotor off if you are only changing the caliper??

Aside from that, a lot of rotors do not have much clearance from the hub, and they rust in place. You might have to get out your sawzall.

If you need to have your rotor "turned" on a lathe, consider leaving them on and find a shop that turns them while they are on. I had mine turned by such a shop and will NEVER consider letting anyone do it any other way again. They are perfect!
