posting a photo

I believe you have to register first and maybe even make a few posts before you can upload. You can use another image hosting site and just post a link here.

If you are needing help identifing something. Then post it in the "Help Identify" gallery. You can get there with the link on the left.
 



When you make a post, look down at the bottom for "Advanced Posting Tools" click on upload photo. Once picture is uploaded, you need to click on "continue" to save picture to your post. It used to be hard to post a pic, but not anymore if you use YT's upload.

You need your pictures stored on your computer
like "My Documents" since the Advanced Posting Tools will take you there automatically. Some of the free photo services will also take you there.

I also use the Advanced Posting Tools for posting pictures. Click on "Upload Photo" then on "Browse" then select your picture you want to post. Then click on "Open" and then on "Upload". Click on "Continue" once and then
click on "Preview Your Reply". Your pic should appear with your message you've written. Hal
 
I don't suppose you could get that picture of the Ford with the mounted harvester blown up and displayed on here. I never saw anything like that before.
 
Also if you look at Jeff's example, at the top left where it says "Look In". You can click on the drop down and choose where your photo is located. You can find and post pictures from my pictures, desktop, your camera SD card etc. For the SD card you find "My Computer" and open it to see the drives listed and in my situation I click on removable disc F, find the correct picture and then open and upload that picture.

You can try try posting your picture and when you click preview your reply if you did it right the picture and message will show up there and then you can post it. If the picture is missing you have to back up and try again because it will not show up in your post.
