I need a universal with a smaller PTO spline like the TO 20 on one end, and a 1 1/8 id. smooth bore on the other end to fit my shaft. It's for the gear box shaft to the drive pulley on my flail mower. Is a off the shelf item, or it will be special made? If I knew the proper name for the ends I can do a search on the computor. Thanks for any help. stan

My wife says I can't respond like I first thought, or I'd get banned from the site.....

So you're looking for a pto shaft.

1-1/8" 540 female knuckle on a universal joint, a sliding shaft, a universal joint with a 1-1/8 inch smooth knuckle on that end. No keyway, I'd presume a bolt hole?

why not use an adapter on the obsolete 1&1/8" pto stub and bring your Fergie into the future...1&3/8" driveline parts are easier to find when needed...the mower end should be off the shelf.
the adapter pic below is available on this site for under 20 bux

If that seal in your pto shaft leaks and needs replacing then is the time to instal the larger shaft, should be able to buy them in a package with the bearing and seal mounted, all that is required is to remove one and insert the other, In the meantime" BCnT" has the other solution.

The one I have on my 6' Landpride finish mower is like that. The mower end is secured with a shear bolt. It came from tractor supply several years ago.
