OT- federal tax refund delays?

What are some of you guys seeing for how long it takes to recieve your Fed tax refunds? State came a while ago, ussually always got Fed back first.

i didnt have a delay in mine, mine went rite to my account, took two weeks to get..I live in minnesota to, I know they did say it could take up to three weeks to get, you can co to www.irs.gov and track your refund, you need the exact dollar amount for it, but it works, Bob

Both came quite close together. Fed only amounted to a few dollars. State was substantial as here we get school tax paid on the first 350 acres back through the state. The one that's always late is the state gasoline tax refund. And that was sent in Jan. 3! In fact I just called my state senators office this morning to enlist his help.

In Indiana I filed electronically on Feb 21st.

State came in March 9th.
Federal came in on March 2nd.

Fed took about 4 weeks, I had to pay state.

File via email system and back in a week. Mail it in and set back and wait.

No delay for me. I had to pay, again. But I would like to get money back even with a delay.

State (KY) is usually 3 to 5 days earlier than Fed from my experience.

We jumped all over the taxes and e filed on Feb 10th. Had both refunds (direct deposit) in the the bank before the end of Feb.

I have seen it take as long as 6 weeks in the old days before E-file. It is the Federal Gubbiment you know.

About ten days on my fed and Seven on state(MI). Not much of a return but I was just happy to not have to pay in. I filed a coupe weeks ago electronically with turbo tax bussiness edition.

We owed this year, so have no idea! I wish we could have sent ours to someone that was getting a refund-just skip the IRS completely!

My CPA files electronically, maybe 7-10 days later, it is a done deal. Both State and Federal, whether I pay in or receive. This year, one of each.

Since the Federal Reserve only has to digitize the currency now instead of the old slow way of printing it the refunds should be coming quickly.Only problem is its probably worth about 10% less than when you gave it to them.

Ten days or less if you efile and just under 3 weeks if you use paper, both asuming direct deposit. Checks take significantly longer..

You can sheck the status of your refund, including deposit date, online.

use to get refund, now i get $5 from state, have to pay feds, going to inquire about payment plan, the are not going to get their money that fast. they can wait for years to get paid. since we had to wait for ours from them.
