The Antique Engine and Tractor Club in Geneseo, IL is featuring John Deere for its 50 year celebration show in September, 2011. As part of the John Deere feature we are including all related makes including Lanz, Velie, R & V etc. I have several Lanz tractors, a self propelled combine, binder, and other Lanz equipment. I am looking for other Lanz owners to share info, attend the show, and or bring tractors to the show. Thanks, Neil West, Bettendorf, Iowa |

Close. 510 & 710 to pretty much everywhere except the US. The 310 stayed in Europe. No 610 that I recall of. |

| There were several JD tractors (models 510, 610 and 710) that were built in Germany and exported to Canada, but not the US. Are these refered to as John Deere Lanz tractors? I think they have the word Lanz on the serial number plate. |

| Do you have the old lanz bulldogs? Couple in our area (next town) that they drive around on sundays. You can hear them coming almost as soon as they leave their driveway.

Germany.... Several like yours around. Sorry, I don't know much about them but the area oldtimer club that does their sunday drives usually line up 10 or 15 tractors with half of them being Lanz. Leader is usually the cadillac (my name for it) lanz, then the others, then the other brands.
I'll try to host and post a link to the last show I went to.
