Old news, they are supposed to be closing in the fall.

I had heard they were closing but didnt know they were taking stuff to the scrap yard. I guess I better go over there and see what they have for scrap prices

I haven't been down there, but I was the one who posted about it the other day. One of the guys who told me said that it was pretty bare out back. Don't know if they're crushing some of the stuff that's pretty well stripped of anything useful or what.
Some of that stuff wasn't much but sheet metal anymore anyway.

I was there yesterday and they told me that a lot of part are being sold to other dealers by the tub.

If you have ever been there you seen all those tubs of parts and rows of equip being parted out. I am guessing that at least half of the stuff by the parts building is gone.

They also seem to be dealing on both new and used parts to clear them out.

Ya,same thing on used equipment. I see from their ad in the Farmers Advance that all combines and heads are 50% off along with all the stuff that was already half off.
It would be a good time to have a New Holland chopper. They have brand new knives for several models advertised for $20 each. I'm thinking I paid something like $120 each for CaseIH knives from Forest Grove.
