i just bought a ford jubilee and it runs great.i do have a problem at the rear tires.i can shake the rear tires side to side.they have a lot of play.it looks like the problem is a gap between the axle splines and the rear brake drum.i did take one tire off and you can see the gap between the splines behind the axle nut washer.any suggestions.

The axle nuts are supposed to be torqued to 450 ft.lbs..

If they are allowed to be loose and the tractor continues to be operated the splines wear. GENERALLY, the splines in the hub wear the most.

If it is worn beyond the point where tightening the nut will remove ALL the play, you need new hubs, at the very least, and POSSIBLY new axles.

BOTH the axles and hubs are available from THIS very site, about $70 each for the hubs and about $140 each for the axles.

Replace the seal, as well.
