Rabies

There are five people taking rabies shots in my area. They were exposed by working with sick horses. The infected horses were about 5 miles apart. I haven't heard of anything being effected but horses, which seems strange to me. I have nightmares about the neighbors bull running through fences and up the road bellering. That was 70 years ago. I was at an impressionable age then.

I shot a skunk this afternoon, broad daylight, out in the pasture. He didn't really act funny (except for being out in daylight) but not going to chance it. Skunks are common to carry rabies around here.
