Sold My Collection!!!

Found a guy that wants to buy my entire collection of cars and tractors and implements.

He offered me $35,000 for it all! I couldn"t believe it! So I SOLD IT ALL!

This sure is great!

Oh, and by the way, April FOOLS!!!!

HAHAHA

That will be the day when I sell something. I get too attached to the things I buy.

My old man used to work in a hardware store in town, the boss left a note for him to call Mr. Bear about an item. Dad calls the number the boss left and heard "World Famous Topeka Zoo" on the other end....he knew he had been had by this point, or so he said..being the man he is he asked to speak with Mr. Bear and from there the laughter began.

Once at a house fire, alot of men books got scattered all over the lawn, so each fireman decided we must save all we can, and collected them for the man of the houses.....................teenage son.

We collectd a few phone numbers, and for the next two years when someone told you to call a number, you probably were going to get a lady on the other end, some with Adams apples.

When our daughter was young, on April Fools day the local radio station announced that the telephone company was going to blow out the phone lines and people should tape a brown paper bag over the phone to catch the dust. We were out shopping and when we came home there was a paper bag taped over the phone. LOL. I just reminded her today and she still doesn't like to admit that she was taken.
