Continental engine question

I have a Z145 on a massey and would like to add a hydraulic pump to the spot where a power steering pump goes. Does anyone know where I can buy just the 12 tooth drive gear for the pump? Those pumps are prices way out of my range and I have several other pumps laying around that I think I could retrofit.

Assuming you"ve tried the normal outlets without any luck, the obsolete Cont parts source most mentioned and recommended is Garrad (Jerry) Moon at Monte"s Eqpmt in Chicago:
garradmoon@[email protected], or
montesequipment.com.
Another helpful source for older Cont parts often mentioned is P A Ross Machinery in Dallas:
parossmachinery.com.
aths.org (Antq Trk Hist Soc) has a list of other obsolete parts dealers in their "Parts and Services" section. Good luck.

Thanks, theres a factory pump on ebay that ends today. It was looking in my price range last night but I'm at work and not allowed to access ebay and it ends before I get home :-( but figure it'll go higher than I can go before it ends anyway. I'll check each of the ones you sent.

Have a great weekend everyone

When I went up to Anderson"s Tractor they had the cessna pump for under 100 bucks with a 30 day guarantee. This was around January so I would call them.
