A friend of mine called me tonight, and it seems this girl he's been seein' had a little container of rock-lookin' things...he doesn't know whether they're something bad or not, so I thought maybe someone on here could help.

Anyways, they're about the size of a pencil eraser or a bit smaller, like "pop rocks", they're white, with pink edges. Rough, jagged looking things like diamond crystals.

When asked, she claimed they were "pills" for a heart condition. Is there any such "pills" for heart conditions that a person would use, especially ones that wouldn't be kept in a normal pill bottle?

I'm thinkin' he should get away fast....what does everyone here think???
 
Thats what I'm thinking too! But, I have heard of "heart pills"...wondering if anyone here who may be familiar with them could chime in on what they look like? Random sized rock-looking things that ya pop in your mouth like candy? My buddy's sticking up for her but it sounds pretty dang fishy to me....
 
trouble is if he is sweet on her and you say something bad about her then you are the bad guy,it is a situation where you cant win.but all you can do is let him know what you think,and watch out for him hopefully he will figure it out quickly before she makes off with everything.good luck!
 
Google "Picture of Meth" then Google "picture of crack". Draw your own conclusions, get your buddy over to see what he thinks.
 
He better get away from her real fast just how dumb is he. He could get arrested along with her and get into serious trouble. He must be dumber than a local rock.
 
Saw some photos of meth users taken at length of time used.The ones using for over 2 years were wrecked.It will show up on her face.
 
He might also want to see if he's missing any credit cards or blank checks. (Tip: Checks will be missing from the BACK of his checkbook.)
 
Correct me if I'm wrong here fellas, but I thought meth and crack were smoked. If that is the case, the pipe/bong should be around somewhere. That would be the evedence to seal the deal for me and if I were him, all she would see of me was a vapor trail.
 
Whats her teeth like? Meth eats up your teeth. They are not heart pills. Likely meth, and it is super addictive, very few beat it, and they usually have to move, change jobs, friends etc. Its almost impossible to use casually.

The look depends on how and who cooked it. Has a lot of garbage in it.
 
Sounds like the buddy needs to loose the girl OR you need to lose the buddy. Misery loves company.

Meth can be smoked, snorted, swallowed or injected. Dont believe me look it up!
 
Agree with the others, sounds like meth. Most states have a law if you carry medicine in a bottle other than the prescribed one they can charge you.

I have several good friends who work for the sheriff's department, one is their drug specialist. I'm positive that what your friend is seeing is crystal meth. It's one of the most addictive drugs out there, and most commonly used in rural areas of the U.S. The contents of crystal meth are primarily household cleaning chemicals, fertilizer chemicals, and cold medication. Meth will destroy your body faster than just about any other drug that is used. Some of the stories he tells of the things people will do to get the "high" they desire from meth after using it for just a short period of time are so gross it's hard to believe. He also says meth is one of few drugs that CAN have you addicted the first time you use it. Bottom line, tell your friend to run, run fast, and don't look back. These drug addicts hang out with others of their kind, and will beg borrow and steal anything to sell at pawn shops to continue supporting their habit.
 
RUN away! The lies have already started. Heart pills... yea right. When was the last time you saw a manufactured drug that was shaped like a pop rock... Don't go into denial. Get away! Offer help from a distance. NOTHING they say and very little of what they do can now be believed. And they are NOT to be trusted with ANYTHING( money, cars, telephone,alone in your or anyone elses house or car, nothing!) until after they have been thru a treatment program AND certified clean for A YEAR MINUMUM!!
They will now lie cheat and steal then swear to you they did nothing while they are stealing more from YOU!
I SHlT you not, this is a BAD SITUATION!!! Did I make myself clear?
 
Forgot to mention my heart pills don't look anything like what was described, but then again I get mine from a pharmacy, after a bi-annual meeting with a doctor. They are not heart pills.
 
Speaking from the heart of "The meth valley" (We even got a front page in USA Today once). Your buddy has a "Meth head" for a girl friend. These girls are characterized by having absolute killer figures (for awhile) brown, black or rotten teeth (from the meth) They practically are bouncing off the walls both physically and emotionally. after a couple years of it, their face and skin looks to be about 80 years old. They are sweet as sugar while they are stealing you blind and will do ANYTHING for their next hit. Their prey? The good hearted, maybe not so popular (or bright) guys preferably with good things going for them. If the DEA is watching her, they are likely watching your buddy too. The other nasty trick of a meth head, they hide their stash in such a manner that if they are raided, blame can be deflected onto your buddy. Had this happen to one of my guys at work about 5 years ago. We warned him several times and he became defensive toward us so we backed off. A short time later he had the opportunity to sit in the back seat of a police cruiser and watch as the state police drug unit and the DEA literally tore his trailer home apart. Yes then he got what we were trying to tell him.
 
It's Cocaine!! We bought a used car one time in 1993 and there was a small baggie the size of a match book that slid down in the dash by the gauges. I had to get the police involved because I needed to know if there may be more in there. They said that little rock had a street value of $150.00, it was the size of a pencil eraser. I have a picture of it somewhere and if I had it handy I would post it here for you. If I were you I would get her very far away from everyone. Hope all turns out for the better for you.
 
No I'm in Northern central Pa. the original "meth valley". A kid I went to school with was one of the people that refined the methods of cooking meth back in the 1980s. Thru the 90s and until recently Meth labs dotted the landscape in this area. Law enforcement finally woke up and started educating people and really getting rough. This drove the "cookers" out to places like Indiana and the midwest. That stuff isn't real conducive to being made in a populated area as it smells quite bad as I'm told. We had people getting shot stealing ammonia and most other chemicals. If you bought starting ether you got real suspicious looks. All cold medicines you still need to show ID to buy. This area was initially popular for producing that stuff due to it's rural "charm" but close proximity to NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore/Washington. Folks are pretty sensitive to 'abnormal behavior' and funny smells these days. There were 2 'labs' busted within a mile of me a couple years ago, I had no clue.
 
I get AMC on cable, don't know if sattilites pick that one up, but there was a mini series last year called 'breaking bad', if you pay attention, you will learn more about this crap than you wanted to know. It's like the old Italian operas.. what did they call it? Tragic comedy? The latino guy on 'closers' was the bad guy on this, I guess they wrote him out early, cause as a 'normal guy' he couldn't take acting the part. Kind of sickening really. It's like Alfred Hitchcock, the series didn't really 'end' yet, so it might continue later this year? Looking forward to watching that show is like looking forward to the dentist... keep an eye out for it.
 
I would recommend he try to sneak a sample & take it to law enforcement & have it tested. He had better be aware that she will accuse him of awful things when things start getting rough for her. And she will probably believe them.
My own daughter and her infant child were living with us when she started losing weight and making paranoid statements about everyone. One day she just disappeared. Turned out she told my son that I had molested all three of my kids when they were children. Luckily my other two kids (now adults) knew better but all the other people she told believed her. After getting DHS involved and eventually a warrant for her arrest (she was still nursing the infant and we were sure she was taking meth. A 3 year prison sentence here. It's the same as if she was giving the child meth)
The stigma of being falsely accused is awful. I even had two cops show up and go through my computer to see if I had been on any inappropriate sites.
After a few months she turned herself in (she made sure she was clean then) and they took the child away from her. Eventually they dropped charges and she got the child back.
She seems somewhat normal now but I will never trust her again. And won't let her live here.
Tell your friend to be very careful.
 
If they were heart pills from a pharmacy, they would be in a little plastic prescription bottle or she could produce the bottle with the rest of the pills. I'm sure if you look on the internet or go to a police station, they will be able to show you pictures to compare what you saw or other ways to tell what you found. I wouldn't take it to the police station for fear that some over zealous cop would charge you with possession of an illegal substance. Stranger things have happened. There is a reason they are called "rocks". It's because they resemble rough diamonds. I'd tell your friend to lock up any valuables and don't ever leave his wallet or money out. Addicts will pawn what ever they can get their hands on if they really need a fix. I suppose once it's positively confirmed that it is meth or crack, she might be willing to go to rehab. Maybe she would appreciate having your friends support? If she gets P'od and says she's going to Charlie(Sheen), let her go. LoL
 
I should have said that if she claims to have tiger blood dripping from her fangs and she's "winning", you can bet they weren't heart pills.
 
WC In ? Like Montgomery County? I had a rental house there. Meth head wrecked it and now she is in prison until July,but by then the house will be gone--bulldozed & buried.
 
heart pills, thats a good one, she will use tha little piece of skin to twist his thinking then when he accepts it she will try to get him hooked all the while stealing him blind, He will pay dearly for taking the skin boat to tuna town!
 
Ron, Tell your Friend that NO Rx looks like little rocks, I am an Ins Agent here in Texas for 17 yrs, I have seen just about every Rx container there is! And Heart & BP are the norm.,,,,Little Rocks that are Heart pills..... BullSh!#!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After she get picked up he will get questioned about his association with her and it better be rock solid and air tight. Later,....
 
Tell him to quit her & then watch HIM as they like to spread the habit around....

If he don't leave he will be using also...
 
Thanks for the responses everyone! I showed these to my friend and he's gonna break off the relationship, regardless of what the stuff is...he said he's been wanting a reason to break it off anyway!

He did say, however, that the stuff he saw didn't look anything like the one pic that was put up on here...it was pure crystal-white, with a pink tinge on the edges, and real sharp edges...he said she popped one in her mouth and asked him if he wanted one...he said no thanks...now tell my why the heck a person would offer their "heart pills" to someone else???? She said that they were regular pills that she'd cut into quarters(cut 4 ways) which is why they looked like that....whatever!

Anyhow, neither he nor I have ever had any experience with this crud(nor do we want to) so we just hoped someone in law enforcement or with experience here would chime in. I can say myself, though, that I've seen her and although she's cute, there's some blackening around the teeth and alot of wrinkles to the skin...even though she works outdoors...anyway, looks bad to me...

Doubt like heck my buddy's gonna try to get any of this stuff and show it to police, I'm guessin' he's just gonna end the deal and get away fast. Just hope she doesn't go nuts and start stuff when he does...
 
WC, IN like vigo co. Is it true that before you could rent or sell the house where meth was made, that it would have to be cleaned up by HAZ-MAT inspected at an average cost of $60K?
 
If she doesn't take anything from him, it will be her meth head friends who will drive by his place and yours to case your places for a later taking. They are always looking for an obscure place out in the country for a cook. They have a regular network and all work together.

You can usually pick a meth head out of a crowd. Thin, talk fast and haltingly, can't track a thought for long, jittery, bad teeth and gums, and little sores on their arms that they pick at all the time.

Meth dries out their mouth so they always suck on their teeth and gums to make moisture which allows the sugars to eat at the gums and allow the teeth to rot. It also dries out their skin and makes it itch. So they habitually start picking at the itchy spots on their arms creating sores.

I've been to restaurants where groups from NA meetings go out to eat. They all have bad teeth and look twice their age. The ones that have truly quit show some weight gain.
