Leather Care

I got the soon to be Mrs. a newer vehicle which has leather seats. I've never owned a vehicle with leather. What is the proper way to care for them. What are the good products to use. Thanks fellas.

If you check the owners manual it will tell you what is best as all leathere isnt the same it comes from different animals and treatment is different.

Sitting on them has always worked for me! The only thing special I do to mine is use leather wipes to clean up spills.
I have had leather seats in my cars and trucks for better than 30 years all told. They wear better than cloth or viynal just as they.

If you want the very best, and are willing to "go the distance", "Snow-Seal" is absolutely the BEST protector of leather...

Use it and it will last MORE than a lifetime...

It's impossible to "treat" todays auto leather seats. They are dyed and finished. The only thing you can do is "clean" them if you get grase, paint or something on them. Not like boots or baseball gloves that are not dyed and sealed.
That said, IF your leather seats start to break down, crak and split, then you can get some Neatsfoot oil in those cracked areas and perhaps slow the disintegration down. But, don't sit on them in your Armanis.

Nothing better..!!

I have the leather good and warm before I put it on, so it will penetrate deep in the leather..
Let it absorb, wipe the excess off and wipe to a shine..
Work boots treated well will last a lifetime..
