Just found this ad on Craigslist. Can I get some reviews from those who know and/or have used this brand? Who makes Montana? Is this a fair price for the tractor advertised(assuming it isn't a scam)? Looking for dealer/support locations now...

Be Careful!!!! It looks like a scam. Ask to see the tractor in person to inspect it before you buy it. DO NOT give any downpayment until you see the tractor.
 
Somebody's gonna take a skrewin! Thats a scam. One just sold at a consignment auction locally I was watching. It had 800 hrs, loader, all the same stuff listed, went for $9700.00
 
Scam for sure. My neighbore always calls to tell me about stuff like that on craigs list, he thinks it's all on the up and up. Only thing that saves him is he's to lazy to go look at it. LOL
 
i always see tractors, cars, trucks, etc. on c-list, they always say there are a dealer, never have address, phone number, uses women names, respond usually to a g-mail posting. normally a scam to get your e-mail to spam you or to sent virus, when have you seen a 15k tractor sell for 3k, or a 2008 lexus sell for $ 3,500. i just flag them. just checked, been flagged for removal.
 
forgot to mention, if you respond to them, they will give you a b/s story about being in another state, country, etc. send $ thru pay-pal. unit is never in state where they posted. been there/done that, also look in other states for the same posting. just for fun, i was writing down names, e-mail, had over 50 bogus sellers.
 
Montana tractors are manufactured in South Korea by LS Tractors. While they appear to be a reasonably competent tractor, parts and service may be a problem in some areas.
 
Montana is a company set up by J. B. Hunt (the trucking company), a banker, and an importer. As for the quality, I can't say.
