on he front of my f14 there is a broken bracket on the steering post that swivels left to right. what is that part called

here is a close up,chris is asking about. it is the bracket on the top of the two. look above the tie-down strap. i think it is the cultivator bracket he is asking about.

That arm seems to be broker on a lot of tractors.Regulars,F-20 andF-30 also have that arm.That was for a 'steerable'cultivator.
 
I second that answer. Our F-12 had one and we had a cultivator that attached to it. It rotated the front cultivators as the front wheels turned. It was quite a mechanism and one could not hand crank normally, as it had an extension for the regular crank as I remember.
