AC 190 to AC 180

What would have to be changed to put a 2800 diesel(non-turbo)engine from an AC190 into an AC180 or AC185? Would the flywheel clutch assy be the same?

do not know ,except i have a good motor for either tractor,, would like to find a AC tractor needing a motor ,..

Would a 180 rear end take the extra horsepower?

Does not the 2900 engine have a larger capacity oiling system than the 2800 engine? I assume this includes larger oil galleries which would mean you would need to some how enlarge the oil galleries in the block of the 2800 engine.

A friend of mine found a 185 with a loader that had a spun rod bearing, poor paint, average tin, and bald tires for I think $650. He over hauled it and its a good tractor but the transmission jumps out of 5-8 gears so becareful with extra power this one couldn't take 75 and the 180 he has is even worse, but you cant beat the power and fuel economy of those 301 cid Allis motors.
