620 Bobcat Skid Steer

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this or not, but any way.
I am looking into buying a Bobcat 620 skid steer.
The engine knocks and needs rebuilt. Every thing else looks good, this is for sale on a online auction and I wondering if any one would know what one is worth? There is also a Bobcat 610 for parts and I was wondering if the parts would interchange with each other?
Thanks for any info.

The 620 was built from 1975- 1976
finding info on the 610 shows an overlap that I don't understand, because it shows the 610 was built from 1872 to 1982

both had 30 hp Wisconsin motors the weight of the 610 shows as 3,805 If you want them not running I'd offer 10-15% above junk price.

looks like all attachments would work on either with the quick attach system

Wisconsin parts run into $$$$ real fast so be careful. You could potentially end up with an expensive old loader. That said, if luck falld on your side you could have a cheap one as well. FWIW, I sold a pretty nice 610 a year ago and got 2850 for it. You would need to be substantially under that to make it worth your time fixing it. I dont think I'd want to be over 1200 and would rather be below that if possible.

Engines may be the same but that's about it. The 620 is hydrostatic and the 610 uses two speed clutchs for steering. You may be able to adapt a different engine to the 620 though. You could also check with a tractor wrecker. Wisconsin's were extremely popular in swathers. They tended to overheat in skid steers if they weren't cleaned of debris though.

I would go hydro.

If you are doing stuff with clutches fully engaged they last a few years. We go through clutch discs about every other year though from digging postholes on hillsides. We have to slip them to keep the auger straight. Clutches aren't hard to change though, I did one in 15 minutes once. Would've been 20 if i did both on that side.
