I have a 1974 Oliver. Model 1365. I am pretty sure that I need a Steering Arm, LH but I am not certain. I have attached a picture with the part circled. Can someone confirm that I have the correct part?

That's the steering arm,but if the tie rod is behind the axle, that's the right hand arm. Right and left are determined as you're standing behind the tractor.

Is that a crack?Take it to a professional welder,he can repair it,and probablly cheaper than a new one.

that sounds like an accurate description to me.
is it cracked or just wallowed out?
i've gotten by with opening up the slot with a cutting wheel on a disc grinder so the part will tighten up more...mite buy you some more time to find a new one.

Clean the grease off of the top side, kind of looks like there might be a part/casting number there to go by. chris
