Ihave been seeing a few robins in the past two weeks. Yesterday I saw Several large flocks of robins, and this guy. He must have been hungry because he didn't bat an eye when I backed up, rolled down the window and started taking pics. I haven't seen any geese yet though.

I hope your right, after the 12" of snow we got last Friday the 25th, Did you get any out your way? I missed the farm show agian! lol J

We got a foot and then some. When I posted this this morning the sun was shining. Now I can't see 50' wind gusting to 25mph and snowing hard. If you don't have it yet, it's coming your way.

Yep, weve had some squalls too, along with the Artic chill coming tonight, down to 2 above or so here, maybe colder,,,, Think Spring :)
 
weve had geese for weeks, theyve been in the corn stalks, monday we had a bad flood and I saw them swimming so I imagine they lost some eggs, I guess its a bad year to be a goose.
 
used to find those in the wild around here only time ya see them now is when they get stocked, not unusual for them to stand at the roadside cause they are waiting for someone to feed them.

too many fox / coyotes, and now Pa has a trapping season for the Fisher.
 
Good eatin though,tastes like chicken,only better.That close to the road he'd be dead in the back of the truck,headen home to be cleaned and cooked.Yummy.
