OT/well that fizzled

Geez,for a week they'd been forcasting a major disaster of a storm for last night and today. I'd been cursing under my breath the whole time because I really needed to get some cattle hauled out of here today. Was supposed to be a half inch of rain,thunderstorms,freezing rain snow,tumbling temperatures,high winds.
What we got was a light dusting of snow over night followed by a sunny day with a little bit of a breeze. Got a load of cattle to the sale barn without a problem. Here's hoping the weather is this "BAD" again next Monday!
 
In Missouri we where under a tornado warning most of the night. Lots of places had hail the size of golf balls or bigger. Have not heard if any thing got hit by much but then again I do not watch the news till 6pm
 
Sure got less weather than we were promised this time. Wife kept waking up in the night, checking to see if we lost electricity with the freezing rain.... All we got was a light dusting of snow. Thanks weather makers. We don"t need any freezing rain, and the almost guaranteed power outages that would follow.
 
Yea,I thought for sure I'd have to get the generator out. I woke up and heard a little bit of something hitting the windows one time,but just a few pings. I'm sure not complaining though,except for the greif that the weather guessers caused.
