Ford 800 adding a backhoe

I have a Ford 800 with a loader and it's own pump up front. What is the cheapest and simplest way to add rear hydraulics to run my 3 point Case backhoe???

Neighbor used a pto driven hydraulic pump to run the hydraulics on a 3pt backhoe that was mounted to a 300 I.H. utility.

backhoes take a helluva lot more gpm than a loader...a pto pump of the correct size mite be less trouble than replacing and plumbing a higher output front pump plus you wouldnt have to switch hydraulics from loader to b/h when its time to move machine.

You could tap into the hyds. of the front pump but it would be on the slow side but would still work. I have an 8N with a Scout brand back hoe that runs both the front end loader and the back hoe off the front pump and it does a pretty good job but is a tad bit slow but sure as heck beats a shovel any day of the week

On a 6140 AC I just plumed into the return line of the loader valve and ran it to the backhoe pressure side then the return of the backhoe back to the return line of the loader. It will be fast enough to get by, and everything will work together. you might have to turn the pressure up on the loader valve.

I don't know what size case backhoe you have, just be careful that you don't overload your 3 point and break your tractor in two. I always rigged up a sub frame to mount backhoe to farm tractors
