What would be the best oil to use in a NAA rear end and in the tranmission housing that the hydraulic pump pulls it fluid from?

90 weight gear oil is what they came with and i still use it in my '62 2000...same tractor basically.

Originally, 90W was specified for the transmission and differential but CNH now recommends CNH 134D in all sumps except the engine.

the hyd DOES NOT pull from the tranny sump.

there is a diffy sump, a tranny sump, and a hyd sump.

gear oils in the diffy and tranny are fine and aw32 or utf in the hyds.. or as dean said.. utf in all 3..

sometimes the pto seal wears and lets the hyd and diffy fluid mingle.. thus I would not use aw32.. and would consider utf in the diffy and hyds if you think the seal leaks.
