Case 2090 Capability

I have found a clean/low hour 2090 with duals and a full rack of suit case weights. Just wondering how big a chisel plow , field cultivator, and disc it would pull comfortably. I understand that soil types vary greatly across the country so for reference right now I'm pulling a 12' disc in plowed ground with a 70hp FWA kubota that weighs about 5,500pounds

The 90 series Case tractors are good ones. I had a 2290 that was rated at 130hp but hit the dyno at 159hp. I would think that a 20 foot disk would be about right. I pulled a 25 foot without much trouble. I have a 2390 now and may be looking for another clean one or even a 2590. I look at newer tractors but haven't spent the big money yet....

A Case 2090 is the baby of that family. It was rated at 108 pto hp. 93 draw bar. I would say a eighteen foot disk and ten foot chisel plow. Now that is in some hard ground if you are real flat and have easy working soil you could pull more. I have some clay here and hills.

Right on the mark in my opinion. I had a 1070 which I believe the 2090 replaced.

I used an 18 foot disc behind it and a 20 foot undercutter, both primary tillage implements.
