Case 446 tractor

Am looking for information on used Case 446 lawn tractors. Saw some on the site .... are they desirable second-hand? My father is looking to sell one that needs a little work, and I want to give him some advice.

Might try asking in the garden tractor forum, a few Case garden tractor people hang out there. One thing to keep in mind, Case doesn"t offer much parts for those. Ingersoll owns everything Case garden tractor related, and parts can be obtained from an Ingersoll Dealer.

I had one many years ago. Pretty much a bullet proof garden tractor. If the engine is warn out they are readily available. I had mine for 14 years and sold it for more than I gave.
