Where can a person buy the type of heaters used above the spectator areas of hockey arenas? Seems they would be a really good heater for a workshop. I've seen the name Vanguard on them, but can't find any specifics on the net.

I am not sure about what type of heater you are referring to as I haven't been to any hockey games. Is it an infrared radiant heater? They look like a long tube with two shiny metal shields on it that direct the heat.

I think they're just infrared heaters. A commercial heating place should have info on them. The internet would be a good place to get info and pictures as well. Dave

Yes those are what I am referring to. The ones I've seen have gas lines hooked to them so they must use either natural gas or LP.

Like I always say google "Heating help.com and ask anyone on their feature (kinda like this) called "the wall" Heating experts all over the world will respond to you. Good luck!
