Does anyone know how many of these were built, what years and where I could find more info on these little tractors

The Farmall A was built from 1939 to 1947. The tractor you are asking about would be one model of this I believe.
Serial number info is listed on the left.

From the info on the left and from external_link a little over 220,000 A & B tractors were built. If the original serial # plate or tag is still there you can figure out the year the tractor was built.
Others on the Farmall Forum may be able to tell you when the engine was built if there is no ser # plate.
