In the last month or so there was some pictures posted on cattle being loaded in Australia. It showed a bunch of trucks in a big circle waiting to be loaded. I have used the search feature and can"t find the pictures. Can any of you remember the date or posting???

I saved some of the pictures so here they are if interested.JH

(quoted from post at 05:45:53 02/14/11) That's amazing! Those trailers look like side loaders, unlike ours that load from the rear.

They are side load trailers(similar to a RR livestock car) so they can stay hooked in tandem while being loaded.

Side load makes a lot of sense. Seems to me (remember I"m not a big rig driver) that would be much easier than the ones that load from the back.

I've driven an 18 wheeler many yrs ago hauling JD equipment for a dealer from the country for repairs/trade-ins and new from the factory. The Aussie trucks pulling 3 trailers at a time would not be easy to hook together. Therefore side loading was essential.

Yep, I saw a show one time on TV about the huge "Land Trains" those Aussies use down there. They haul enormous loads down the road with those huge rigs.
