The joystick on my tractor is showing this problem.
I have to move the control farther to the right to tip the bucket down than was the case a while ago. Is there an adjustment or is something wore that has to be replaced. I'd like to figure this out to prevent a breakdown.
Always appreiciate the help I get on here.Chas.

Chas,

Most joystick cables can be adjusted at the valve body end. There should be a lock nut and threaded adjuster which can be moved to take up any stretch in the cable. The adjuster may have a clamp at the valve body that needs to be loosened before adjustment can take place.

My joystick needs adjusting every couple of years, and the cables don"t last for ever either. I get about 5-6 years out of a cable... I didn"t think mine were too bad (just changed them) but the new ones are so much easier to use.
