Anybody ever run samson tires

a few guys I know have bought 3 rib fronts, i have a hard time putting a china tire on anything, on the other hand US made good years hasn't impressed me.

I just bought some last year, there rib imp. about one forth the price of Firestone. I hate to support china, but with the price of repair parts and fuel etc. it's getting harder to squeeze a profit out of my operation. I do like Firestone.

a friend bought some 12.4x38 samsons for $420/ea, a US made titan in the same size was $427/ea, given my experience with good years (which are made out of 365 used rubbers, hence the name good year!) not sure if the titans are much better

Goodyear bought out Titan, so they are the same thing with 2 different names, and prices on Titans are now higher. I have seen samson tires, they look descent, I don't know who sells them though.

I think it's the other way around. Titan bought the ag tire assets of Goodyear in 2005.

Thanks for the replys I found a set of 15.5.38 8 ply free shipping for 1300.00 I only put about 500 hours on a year my. Duals are almost new tread wise but I need to replace the inside tires
