OT SR Wheat concern

We have had 2"-3" of solid ice on the ground for a week now. Am concerned the wheat won't survive. Don't have that many acres to be concerned(mine never got up anyway) , but if the ice is widespread ,could this affect the crop mix? What are you seeing where SR winter wheat is grown?

I have had ice on wheat and oats but never a week down here in Texas and it never hurt the crop. I've heard that snow was a poor mans fertilizer because it deposited a small amt of nitrogen.

We seem to have that situation every few years or so here in Missouri. I've never seen it hurt the crop as the wheat is usually in dormancy this time of year. Wheat has nine lives. I"d do a google search for "winter wheat ice damage".
