All the local DFW news can talk about is the derned SUPERBOWL. Who cares but the people with money to burn or just waste or low IQ. I just happened to hear after the weather forecast that there are still seats available in the nose bleed section for $2500-$3000 each. Wow what a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't follow pro sports very much; seems like the last I heard, the Red Sox were in line to be one of the teams playing. Who's on the other side of the line?

I have only faint recollection hearing of the teams that will be playing. Yesterday I did look up the date for the Super Bowl game as I was under the impression from forum posts it would be today.

As for me------I learned last year that the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday is an EXCELLENT day to go shopping as you have the stores nearly to yourself. No waiting in line, no waiting for sales assistance if needed, etc. Not even traffic to fight. Yep, Super Bowl Sunday works for me.

Tx Jim,
I am sick about hearing it also. However I am not optimistic like you. I think we will be hearing for sometime about who made this mistake and what should have happened and how good or bad this player or coach did.

I don't follow pro sports much. To me the players are spoiled and overpaid. They get paid millions to play a game and if they get in trouble they just pay a small (to them) fine and life goes on. Now if they only got paid if they WIN a game, it might actually be worth watching.

And tomorrow there might be some bargains on big screen TV"s? Marilyn and I will be in Sioux City. Might just check it out to see if I"m right. Sometimes we can take advantage of other"s indulgences, or backing out on them. No, I"m not buying, our two 19" sets work just fine and they won"t be tuned to the super bowl. Jim

Corporate pilot buddy of mine got hired out to charter people from here (central NY) to the game. He's about as interested in sports as I- maybe like watching paint dry. So I wonder what cost more- the seat or the flight? I guess if you're spending that kind of money, it doesn't matter.

Come on guys feel sorry for me; only live 30 miles north of Pittsburgh...........sick and tired..........people got too much money and then want me to take care of them in their old age. Give me a break!

I'll get to hear all about the game whether I want to or not tomorrow at work. I can't believe the nonsense over pro sports. Ifin I had a penny for every comment about how this or that team pay players and if they got a player worth the salary they'd win the SB, I'd been a millionaire years ago.

thank you all, I thought I was the only one that didn't watch multi-millionaires "play" games for quad-zillionaires.

What the heck is that?? Maybe where you get a bunch of idiots running around chasing a pig skin full of air. And all those idiots make so much money that it hurts to think about it and for what just to get beat up and run over by other guys. Ya I think it is one of the biggest waste of time and money.

Saw on the news last night they were interviewing a couple. They bought a "package" which included transportation, rooms and tickets for $15,000 each. That's $30,000 for the couple! What we could do with that money.......

Glad to see there are others who have not been hoodwinked into thinking the Stuporbowl is somehow valuable.
Too much sports is a serious problem in America.

Thanks for the comment Jim. I thought I was the only guy in the USA who didn't care two cents about the Super Bowl.

Believe it or not - I have NEVER watched a football game in my entire life. The rural high school that I attended did not have a football team, and I know absolutely nothing about the game.

Commercials what those things that company's pay a Million $$ for a 30 second bunch of bull and then pass on that bill to those who buy there stuff. Again a big waster of $$$

Won't be on here either. Wouldn't be, even if we did
get TV reception. Bunch of over-paid, spoiled brats.

I don't really have any interest in it either, but the bulk of the people who will be don't have any interest in tractor pulling,NASCAR,livestock shows, county fairs, demolition derbys, things of that nature. But,they leave us alone and let us have our pleasures,so I'm not going to pile on and criticize what interests somebody else.
Hee Haw's on at 8. I'll be watching that.

All this time I thought I was the only one that did not like football. Never watched a game in my life, only basketball games I ever watched were played on the backs of a donkey and only watched because of the donkeys. Also do not like baseball or any of the other fights. I call football a football fight and not a game. Am 67 years old and married for 33 years being 34 when I got married. Anytime any of the news programs start on the sports theme they get turned off.

why cant they fill up that stadium with tractors? The superbowl of tractors, hows that sound? sounds good to me!

Never cared for football or most sports.

Really lost intrest the day I brought my wife home from the hospital with terminal cancer. Only to see some idiot football player crying about his pay. He was only going to get 3.2 million a year. Said he just could not live on that. He had to have 3.5.

im with y'all, just never could get into football, bunch of guys run around in tight pants for 4 hours then go shower, nope not my thing roflmao
