OT: Feelin Guilty

Temps in the 70s yesterday round here (Charleston SC.)and was planning on bragging about it this morning. I decided not to say anything because I know that some of you are suffering in the cold and snow and it would not be funny. But now I am feeling very guilty for considering such a thing. I sure am glad I didn't.

I wouldn"t care because I enjoy this snow but I feel sorry for everyone with livestock outside. I had to run out and load up the wood burner during the blizzard and ice actually formed on my face. We got 16 inches here in sw mi.

Dont feel sorry about it, atleast I get to play with my tractor plowing out the drive way otherwise it would just set in the garage until spring. We got about a foot here yesterday in SW Vermont. More to come. Gonna get some more play days from the looks of things.
Take care an God Bless
Les

There was a hot shot weatherman on one of the news programs day before yesterday that said the country is in for a big warmup starting about the 14th , That means one thing MUD !!

Don't feel guilty. You know the old saying, "If it doesn't kill ya it's good for ya." Gotta go plow more snow as soon as I finish one more cup of coffee.

No need to feel guilty as long as you meant it in good spirit.
People try to "explain" the weather. That is so rediculous. It is what it is, based on dynamics that we understand but do not control.
Enjoy the good days! We all get bad ones, be it snow, cold, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, etc.

Ron;
Go ahead and brag. It was in the 70's 2 days ago here. Now look at it.
The low in the gulf is gathering steam and will be headed up the east coast any day now.

It is going to be a very close call for us. Predicting 1/4 to 1/2 in of ice just north and west of us.
Schools in Washington parish are closed today just for incase. St Tammany and Tangiphoa are on wait and see mode.

Unlike the north just a little ice will bring us to a stand still as you know.

I work for a farm dealer and when the winters are bad the shop stays busier. This year the old tractors that are used for feeding are having cluch and pto problems. Wheat farmers bring there equipment in earlier.

Go ahead and brag I just love to hear everyone whine about the cold and snow round here. We will get our 70 degree days soon enough but then it soon turns to 90's with humidity.... thats when I start whining.
