Funny Looking Vehicle

On I-270 near St. Louis I saw a kid pass me driving an old model pickup truck with extremely high wheels on the back. Looked like 9.00 x20 truck wheels. This rig had no bed and sat really close to the ground. He was driving in excess of 70. Anybody know what they call this thing ?????

Coulda been anything. A local fellow mated the frame from the cab back from a Chevy C60 to the front of a C3500. 16" wheels in front and 20" duals on the rear.

Same guy used as a daily driver a beat up Model A Ford. Not restored, looked like it had been on the road since new and probably had.

You seen those guys driving around with those huge wheels on their cars and SUVs? I mean wheels like 27" in diameter and cost a couple $grand a piece? Hip-Hop wheels on cars that drive down the street going "DaDoomBaBoom DaDoomBaBoom DaDoomBaBoom" and shake windows and foundations for miles? I saw this place in Joliet that sells similar wheels that are like 52" in diameter. I am not joking. I can't even imagine, but they have them for sale. I would love to be the cop that comes up behind a car with those driving down the road, because there is a car thats going to get impounded for something. Anything. Landing lights not properly positioned. Something.

I used to live at an intersection those boom boom cars would stop and set there for awhile late at night, right beside my bed room window. (must have been rolling one of those wacky weed ciggs.) I complained to the cops that I was tired of replacing the putty in my windows. I ask if they would do something, or at least open season on them -- he said, but added he would deny he did say it " it would be easier to open season on them"

I despise the window shaking stereos as they SLOWLY cruise down streets so everyone can hate them equally.

There is a device available that somehow feeds the frequency/power or whatever back to the stereo and winds up blowing out the speaker units or amp.

I considered purchasing one until someone pointed out that the cost of the vehicle units may be several thousand dollars.

I would also like to have one of those cell phone jamming devices to stop mindless people from their rude behavior of walking around bumping into people, cutting in front of people, talking loudly, etc.

Recently read about a political unit considering an ordinance for walking while distracted. Um, don't think that one will make it onto the books.
