help needed for jd 450c

i am looking to buy a winch for my john deere 450c. i cant seem to find a lever to turn the pto on but it has 1. if any of you know how to turn it please let me know. i dont want to buy 1 and find out there is no way to turn it on. or if you have a winch for sale. im in boonville ny. thanks

I'm not sure on the c model but on the straight 450 it's under the air filter.It sticks up out of the floor board.Good Luck.

Deere just stopped installing the PTO disconnect lever. The PTO is supposed to run all the time. I'm not sure if the 450B ever had one or not, but I'm sure no 450Cs had them.

According to this post, you can install the disconnect lever in a 450C by drilling a hole in the transmission cover, but you do have to pull the motor and clutch housing off to put it in
