Here in Michigan, 100 miles north of Ohio I got 7 inches as of 5:30am, Wed. I guess another 2-4 inches is coming.

I walked 500 feet down my driveway to see how bad it is. I am not going to work though, already told the boss yesterday I aint gonna make it in.
I dont see the heavy drifting though. I didnt make it down my driveway far enough to see the road, could be bad.

we had 15 to 20 inches since 3 pm yesterday here in n central illinois. spent the night at the shop. getting ready to get the plow truck going and open up the lot, then see if i can get two of the flatbeds dug out and started. we have one wrecker about 10 miles south of town stuck out on the road to recover first thing. still getting snow here at 5 am with high winds.

Suppose to got from 8 to 12, but its not laying where it fell. Around 0 dgrees now. At least the sun is suppose to shine today. going to make feeding them cows a bear.

offically in central mo. , we got 19 inches some a bit more. roads are terrible at best. have to get my lady to work then try to get to the cows. going to be a real challage as wind blew all night. I 70 was closed from KC to ST. LOUIS.

Hard to tell with all the drifting. According to the news we got around 8 inches. Boy the wind was howling last nite. I thought the big old cottonwood tree out side would surely be on the house this morning. We got lucky, I guess, lol.

Very disappointing. The forecast was for 12"-18" overnight. This morning I discovered only 2" had fallen and the storm warning had been cancelled.

Maybe next time...

we've only got a few inches so far but then its only just started storming here. it could snow another foot for all it matters, just push it out of the way and life goes on

ok tried to get out , road drifted at least 4 ft to east , turned around went west , got to state hwy , then kept digging down, pushing snow, (4x4 pu) finally got turned around and back to house. grader just went by, really pulling , so we'll go chk it out. worse its been here in years.

Just north of Detroit, got about 6" by 5;30 this AM. took I-94 crosstown to work. Best commute I've had in a while. Made it in record time. The main roads and the expressways were plowed but had a little snowcover. No problem doing 45 mph. In a few areas you could see pavement. Biggest problem was the people who were going 15 mph in the middle of the expressway, white knuckles gripping the steering wheel, staring straight ahead. Traffic would slow behind them till we all could get around. The slow pokes were probably the biggest potential for an accident. If they're that scared to drive in the winter, they should stay home or get off the expressway and use surface streets, for everyone's safety.

About 4" in Rochester NY, and it's switched over to sleet and freezing rain now...

It's above freezing in the Southern Tier, and headed north toward us.

They were predicting up to 24" in this storm. I'm disappointed.

We got close to 16 inches here in Marion Iowa . Lots of blowing and drifting yet this am,but snow seems to be done . soons as plows get out I am heading to shop and fire up the CK530 case and clean my parking lot and help neighbor dig out . Glad I left it inside last night .

12-13" of snow 100 miles south of KC,MO....Just to the south and east of us they got 15-20".....Lots of 2-4 ft drifts so not much is going on... May not be going anywhere for awhile if the 1456,1206,or Oliver 1950 wont start...Will be -10 tonite for the coldest in years.

20 inches over night with wind gusts recorded over 60 mph. As a bonus its 12 degrees too.
North East Illinois.

12" +/- Some 2' drifts, along with spots where I can see grass. I'm about 35-40 miles east of KC. Streets haven't been plowed yet. Snow routes, highways, and interstates are plowed, but snow packed. Cars aren't getting around at all, trucks and SUVs are about the only travel option.

Here in western MN we got around 8 inches, just another snow and blow, -16 this morning. Nothing unusual. We got all blowed and shoveled out yesterday.

Moline, Ill reporting 18.4" snow as of this morning. Started afternoon yesterday, I barely made it home at 4 pm yesterday with 4 wheel drive PU. No snowplows on our road yet. Cover runs from bare ground to 4 and 5' drifts. Called work and said I can't get out, Boss said he probably wouldn't make it either. Have about a 5' drift in front of the machine shed door to try to get 1850 and blade out of to try to move snow, still windy. Chris

8-10" in South central Michigan, lots of drifting. It's about over now 11am, I'm all plowed out but not going anywhere. Just take advantage of a quiet day working at home.

How much snow did you get?

I've no idea--it won't hold still long enough to measure. Wind in the 20S, gusts in the 30s. Currently nice and toasty at 5º after an overnight temperature of 0º.

I really don't know how much snow we received, but probably a couple of inches at most. We were lucky compared to those east of here.

I'm guessing 6 to 8 inches here in NW Ohio. It's hard to tell since it varies from 1" to 1 1/2 feet in areas. The wind was very strong last night. They were predicting 35mph winds. Hope everyone is warm.

Don't know how much. It hasen't stopped yet.
This winter is like the one's I remember from the late 60's and early 70's.
Snowmobiles were just getting popular and we always had snow well into April.

Got right at 12 inches got to go out here in a little bit after checking all the post on here and plow my drive way and a couple others. Got the V plow on already just need to pour in the gas fire it up and freeze my but off LOL

It snowed 7 inches last night and another 4 or so since 6am. So I got a total of about 11 inches. I need to go measure it.
The tractor has been running for over 2 hours straight. I fired it up at 10:30 am.

Got about 12". Opened the garage door and had a 4ft. drift staring me in the face. Spent about three hours blowing snow out of two driveways. No County snowplow as of yet. My Road is pretty plugged.
Got everything cleared out now, but will have to go out again to do some clean up. Just stoped snowing about 15min. ago. Still got some wind though. That snow was like packed sand after all that wind last night.

just flurries here in s/IND ,,wind is so mean , it has my sara goin round the house searching for a window left open,, cows are up in the cedar thicket where i plunked down serveral stubble bales a week ago and thenyesterday i put good hay in those spots ..

About 25 miles west of lake shore drive official was 22 inches. Used two tanks of gas in snow thrower and also next doors large machine. He had a 40 inch driff in his drive mine was about 20 inches. Bright sun most of day.
