Am I reading the NWS bulletin right? A foot of snow north of I-70 in IL with winds to 35mph??? Seriously, that is uncalled for! Looks like we have some work to do today to get things squared away for a worst case scenario. Get your shovels ready boys and girls.

Brought plenty of firewood up by the house.
If it gets bad, I'll just cancel anything and stay put.
Rocking chair in front of the wood stove is usually where you'll find me, anyway.

I live south side of I-70, St Louis area and they're calling for 1/2 inch of ice between Monday morning and noon Tuesday, then 6+ inches of snow. They're not committing to anything difinet yet. I haven't heard about the 35mph wind.

We are right on the edge of the ice storm prediction in northern Ky. I have the gen and gas on standby. Hard wire my furnace and refrig and I am set.

We had 3 days of 60s and 70s but are headed right back a 70% chance of blowing snow and 0º.

The accumulation here is to be light.

Hey bill, must have got that off of Accuweather? Just seen it on there, tucking semi and everything in for the duration. Think I'd better go to the township shed tomorra and make sure everything is good to go. And we just got the roads cleared off good too!

Sounds like we're still on the fence. Some computer models showing that we're gonna get it,some saying that we'll be just on the edge.

Ya they already have use in a winter weather warning starting tomorrow morning and it goes all the way into Tuesday night. Still not saying how much we will get there just saying we will get some snow. To tell the truth I would not mind if we got as much as we did the last time there said we where going to get snow. The last time we had a warning I didn't even see on flake of snow and believe me I could sure handle that typr of warning
