anyone know much about these? I just bought one, but never had a moline. someone told me they were pretty rare. what do you all think? The yellow paint is new to me!

some friends dad had a g 1000 that thing was a brute.
it would run circles around all of the rest in it's horse power class no matter what color.
weak point was water pump they couldn"t keep them form leaking finally would fill raditor with water every morning. when they put it away for winter would drain raditor until ready to start spring work

Couple yrs ago saw one sell at auction. The auctioneer said they were rare in that there were only 57 left still in running condition that had MFWD from the factory. This one was fully restored so it brought good money.

This one sold in late 2010 in western MO for just a little under $10,000.Had under 3000 hours and engine was apart for a rebuild.
