OT. Gonna be a cold one!

Sounds like temps here in MN are going to get mighty cold tonight and tomorrow. They are talking about -20 to -25 for my area (Northern Anoka County) and with the windchill about -40. Northern MN could see wind chills close to -65, with an actual temp of -40 or so. Hope everyone's heaters are working!

Thinking I'm going to be using the indoor wood furnace along with the outdoor wood boiler tonight. Haven't had a fire in it yet this year, but on the really cold nights it is nice to use it to warm up the floors in the house. It get's the basement nice and warm, and then the heat rises up to the main level floors.

Supposed to get ugly here in Michigan too. I ground 2 loads of feed today and hauled out 5 loads of manure. That should take care of things til it warms up middle of next week.

Local weather guy watches the weather patterns in the Frozen North in winter- he said this AM that its 50 below in the Yukon at present, and "that cold air is gonna end up somewhere". Hopefully not here- my guess is Nort Dakota and Minnesota- again.

Gotta be playing havoc with Jake's pineapples (that comment should separate the newbies from the oldtimers on this board!).
