I have a 750 versatile tractor it is about 225 hp
the soil is not the real heavy stuff but it is not sand. What size cultivator.chisel plow & how many bottom mollbroard plow?? any help would be great

With that much Hp, you can pull just about any size implement! Let's see if I remember right: a chisel plow needs 10-12 HP per shank, so that's about 20, however you configure them. I think a moldboard plow takes less HP than a chisel. Cultivator takes about half or less of a chisel, so 40 shanks? Others will chime in and correct me, It's been a while since any tractors that big around here.

Around here, a tractor like that would be pulling a 36' field cultivator, 26' chisel plow, and (if any big guys still plowed) maybe eight 18" moldboard bottoms. Most ground in our area is fairly tight clay. My father-in-law has a 180 PTO hp FWA tractor that would be close to the same engine power of yours. He runs a 30' cultivator, 11-shank chop chisel, and 25' disk and the tractor handles them all easily, even in the gumbo spots.
