When I was farming, and worked the ground in the spring, there would always be a huge flock of white seagulls following.

You never saw them the rest of the year, so where in the heck did they go?

They move to nesting grounds and to the large bodies of water.The eye site on these birds is incredable.If you do any summer fallow it only takes about 1/2 hour and the feild is white.I live 50+ miles away from the nearest large water body and they always show up.

Flying rats

When we went fishing, wife would throw some popped popcorn out on water and even when you could not see a gull they would soon appear and bring their buddies. Well, when the fish aren't cooperating you have to do some thing. One of them took her minnow in the air when she cast it out one time also, and she had quite a battle to get it in.
