1949 Avery with Hercules

Friend has a Avery tractor with a flat head Hercules engine in it. The gear that drives the oil pump is broken, and thinks that the gear on the cam may also be damaged. Does anyone have any tips as to were to find parts?

If you strike out everywhere else,the Cletrac crawlers used those Hercules engines. Zimmerman Oliver-Cletrac in Ephrata Pennsylvania is the place to go for those.

If he"s got an "A", supposedly produced 1947-50, it should have the IXB3, which, as RRL says, was used in the Oliver Cletrac OC3 (other Cletracs used various other IX"s etc) and Zimmerman should have parts...
If he"s got a "V", supposedly produced 1947-51, it should have the Herc ZXB, a smaller 4cyl flathead reportedly more difficult to find parts for.
If he"s got a "V" and Zimmerman can"t help email and I"ll suggest a couple more places. Good luck.

I just looked up Hercules Engines and found a ton of places for parts. Would that be too hard to do.
