Shop floor....concrete dust

Here is my dilemma....shop was built 10 years ago and fllor was poured the following year. Floor was not sealed. I have finally gotten this thing insulated and heated. The problem I"m having is dust. Doesnt matter how much or often I sweep. Seems like awhile back someone suggested Elmers Glue mixed in warm water applied to the floor. Opinions? Experiences? Suggestions? Thanks

Does not Elmer's return to liquid goop when it gets wet????

Why not sweep it, vaccum it, and put a real sealer on it now????? A 5 gallon can is at any hardware or box store?

Sodium silicate or water glass will seal a floor.I see it in quart cans in hardware stores.Waterglass has been used to seal floors for many years.

I can't imagine myself ever thinking that I have dust coming out of my twenty-two year old floor when I am depositing so much from all the dirty work that I am doing in there.

vacuum, then clean to remove oils, and coat with garage floor epoxy. Application of silicon carbide grit as it hardens makes a great floor that is easy to clean and resists slipping. Jim
