On a pu plow blade is the blade suppose to be exactly vertical when on the ground? Someone brought a plow in to my shop that was all busted up. I can't even tell what was suppose to hold blade from returning way to far back so I will have to fabricate some stops but don"t know how far back they are suppose to return. Thanks.

Mine is vertical, but a lot depends on the ride height of the truck. I've seen a lot of them that tilt forward 'cause the front of the truck rides higher than mine. Some (most?) are adjustable to compensate for ride height of the truck or for personal preference.

Just my guess, but I would think a good rule of thumb would be when the frame between the blade and the truck is parallel to the ground and level that the blade should be vertical.
